Consumers are requested to read the following instructions carefully before proceeding for Registration and Booking.
Registration Procedure Directly through Online Link
Through the new system, all consumers who are within Greater Chennai Corporation Limits can register for booking sewer lorry Services directly through the online link http://stc.chennaimetrowater.in.
The consumer has to enter the Mobile number to Register. The mobile number already registered with the above web portal will not be allowed for registration. The consumer has to validate the mobile number by entering the One Time Password (OTP) generated by the system and sent through SMS. Once validated the consumer will be registered and allowed for booking a sewer lorry.
The consumer will be required to create a password after validating the OTP.
This registration process is one time only and next time onwards they can login to the portal by entering their mobile number and password.
Registration & Booking Procedure through CMWSSB Call Center
Consumers who are unable to book through the online mode, can book for sewer lorry through the CMWSSB call center by dialing 14420 The mobile number already registered will not be allowed for registration. The consumer has to validate the mobile number by giving the One Time Password (OTP) generated by the system and sent through SMS to the call center operator.
Once Mobile number is validated, the consumer will be registered and allowed to proceed for adding their property address details
For adding the property details, the consumer can give their CMC number to the call centre operator as per Chennai Corporation or Chennai Metro water and their address details will be auto populated or else if there is no assessment number, the consumer can give their address and location details to the call centre operator to enter in the system.
This registration process is one time only.
Consumer can then call the call centre of CMWSSB regularly to book for a sewer lorry by giving a particular date and time slot to the call centre operator.
Booking Procedure
After Registration, the consumer can call the call centre of CMWSSB to book a sewer lorry or login to the portal by entering the Mobile number already registered and by validating the Password created at the time of Registration.
On logging in to the portal, the consumer has a choice to add property or multiple properties.
For adding the property details, the consumer can give their CMC number as per Chennai Corporation or Chennai Metro water and their address details will be auto populated or else if there is no assessment number, the consumer can enter the address details.
Consumer can then book for a sewer lorry by giving a particular date and time slot. There are two time slots categorized for every six hours from Morning 6am to Evening 6pm as below:

Consumer can book for the current slot provided atleast 3 hrs are remaining before the end time of the current slot. (i.e if the consumer books at 9 AM then the booking can be make only from 12PM to 06PM slot onnwards).
Consumers should note that the booking is allowed only for the current day and the next day from the time of booking.
Consumers will have a choice of option to select the capacity of tanker lorry (6KL/9KL/12KL) depending on the availability of tanker lorries in that capacity.
On booking, a confirmation SMS with Booking number will be sent to the consumer’s registered mobile number.
The bookings will be open only from 6am to 5pm:
Consumers should note that once Booking is made, cancellation is allowed within 1 hour from time of booking only.
While booking consumers are requested to note that, the requirement of additional hose which is available is 30m/100feet only.
All efforts will be made to ensure that the sewer lorry is scheduled to the consumer on the date & time slot for when tanker was booked by the consumer. However, in case of any emergency the sewer lorry could not be scheduled on the stipulated date & time due to unavoidable reasons, then, schedule will be arranged within the next three days.
Once the tanker is scheduled for collection of septage, the consumer will receive SMS with details of Lorry Number, Lorry Driver Mobile Number and a unique PIN number which should be given to the Lorry driver after the time of completion of clearing septic tank only.
The lorry driver has to login in the portal and confirm collection of Septage from the scheduled consumer by entering the PIN number collected from the consumer (already sent by SMS to consumer).
The consumer will have a provision to request for resending the PIN either by login into the portal or by contacting call center.
In case the consumer has not received delivery of Septic after receiving SMS with delivery details, the consumer has to call the CMWSSB call center by dialing 044-45674567 for complaints.
Consumers should make all necessary arrangements to ensure availability on the scheduled date for collection of septage. CMWSSB will make all earnest efforts to instruct the lorry driver to contact the consumer before collection. However, in case collection could not be made due to consumer non availability, the booking will stand cancelled and CMWSSB will not be held responsible for such cases.
Lorry Owners / Drivers closure of trip using PIN obtained from Consumers
Lorry Owners/Drivers can login to the portal by clicking the link https://stc.chennaimetrowater.in and selecting the option Lorry Owner/Driver and clicking on Submit Trip Progress. Then the Lorry number has to be entered and the active trip summary will be shown. The lorry owner/driver should enter the PIN obtained from consumers and click on septage collected.
Please note that it is important to provide the PIN immediately after collecting the septage and PIN from consumer and the trip will be closed after one hour from providing PIN. The Lorry will be available for next trip allocation only after one hour from the time of entering the PIN.
Payment Procedure
Consumers can make payment directly to the Lorry Driver through Cash/UPI/Debit cards on completion of clearing of septic tank.
Since the payments for the above services are not routed through CMWSSB, CMWSSB will not be held responsible for any disputes arising related to payments towards services offered by the sewer lorry operators.
